The IP Interface enables the communication between the PC and the KNXÂ /Â EIB system via LAN. The KNX IP Interface allows to programm the KNX bus via TCPÂ /Â IP, 4 simultaneous connections possible.
Using electrolytic AC voltage measurement, the MDT Leakage
Sensor detects conductive liquids on the floor. Applications for the MDT Leakage Sensor KNX include heating manifolds, heating, washing and basement rooms, as well as critical areas under terrariums, aquariums or wet cells. The early alarm in case of leakage can help to avoid major damage.
The MDT Logic Module is used for fast and easy compilation of logic functions to control building automation systems. All the functions are parametrized directly in the ETS without additionally software tools. There are 24 independent function blocks with arbitrary functions available. For each function a description can be stored in the ETS. The 4 LEDs on the front panel can be controlled optional by objects. According to date, time and location the Logic Module calculates sunset, sunrise and twilight. Additionally there are output objects available for sommer / winter time, day of the week, every hour, every minute, day / night.
The MDT Rain Sensor reports rain immediately or after a set delay
time to the KNX bus, for example to move blinds, shutters or the
awning into protective position or to close the skylight.
The new MDT security module prevents all connection-oriented accesses of the ETS, such as the programming and also the unloading of the bus devices, in the KNX line. This significantly increases the safety of the protected line in the inner and in the outdoor area.A manipulation of the device programming is no longer possible. The safety function is started automatically after bus voltage recovery / programming of the safety module. The integrated device monitoring system controls up to 100 KNX devices cyclically. As soon as a device is missing or no longer responds due to a defect, an alarm message is sent.
The industrial version of the MDT Switch Actuator AZI with active power measurement combines the switching capability of high inrush currents with the accuracy of active power measurement. Current measurement per channel and total current measurements are possible. The energy consumption is recorded by the integrated active power meter. The actuator is equipped with bistable relays for currents up to 16/20 A and a C-load up to 200 µF.
20 functions with up to 8 independent switching times can be
realised with the MDT Time Switch SCN-RTC20.02. For daily
repeated tasks, such as the UP and DOWN movement of the roller
shutters/blinds in the morning or evening hours, or the ON and OFF
switching of the outdoor lighting. This can be done not only
according to the time, but also according to the calculated sunrise
and sunset for the parameterised location, due to the integrated
astro switching function. The new blind function now also controls
the height and position of the slats as required. Used as master, the
MDT Time Switch supplies the time and date to all bus devices. As
slave it receives the time and date from a time server, for example,
via an IP interface (SCN-IP000.03). In case of Internet failure, the
MDT Time Switch can automatically switch to master mode. The
large active colour display allows editing of the switching times and
manual operation on the device.
The KNX Twilight sensor / Temperature sensor is an outdoor sensor used to measure and evaluate the outside brightness and outside temperature. With integrated Bus coupler unit.
The MDT Weather Station Home provides all important environmental parameters for the KNX bus. These include the brightness values for the cardinal directions east, south and west, the outdoor temperature and the wind speed.
The USB-RS converter makes it possible to connect to the computer SATEL devices provided with RS-232 or RS-232 (TTL) port. It also allows you to program SATEL radio controllers.
ABAX 2 wireless system controller
ACU-220 uses the 868 MHz (or 915 MHz*) radio band, in which 4 channels have been allocated. Communication between components of the ABAX 2 system is encrypted (AES standard) and two-way, all transmissions being acknowledged. The controller works together with the INTEGRA, INTEGRA Plus, VERSA and PERFECTA 64 M control panels (connection via communication bus), making expansion of the alarm system possible by adding wireless devices. It can also interact with any other alarm control panel, automation controller (when using programmable zones and outputs of the module), or work in stand-alone mode.
ACU-220 meets the high EN 50131 requirements for Grade 2.
An advantage of the controller is its excellent transmission range, which can be up to 2000 m in the open area, depending on the device working with the controller and their operating conditions. Such good communication parameters are obtained thanks to the use of a modern radio system and antenna diversity. Depending on the level of received radio signal, ACU-220 automatically selects the optimal antenna to be used to receive the transmission.
The system settings are configured in the ABAX 2 Soft program, which is installed on the computer and has also extensive diagnostic capabilities. When working with the INTEGRA, INTEGRA Plus, VERSA or PERFECTA 64 M control panels, the DLOADX or PERFECTA Soft program or a keypad are used for the configuration. The settings can be changed and the firmware of enrolled wireless devices can be updated by radio, without having to demount them.
