The MDT KNXÂ /Â EIB Power Supply with integrated choke produces the stabilized KNX system voltage (30Â VÂ DC) to supply the connected KNXÂ /Â EIB components. The operating status is indicated via 3 LED.
In addition to the measuring channels for CO2 and VOC, the combi-sensor also records the room temperature and relative humidity. With these measured values, it is able to control temperature and air quality. The air quality traffic light alerts you to excessive CO2 or VOC concentrations in the room. VOC is the abbreviation for volatile organic compounds, which can be produced during evaporation at room temperature and impair the quality of the room air.
The MDT DALI Control 64 Gateway forms the interface between the KNX and the DALI bus. For example, it enables the existing DALI lights to be switched and dimmed using the MDT glass or plastic push-buttons. The gateway supports DALI and DALI-2 compliant lights/ballasts, from single colour to Tunable White, to RGB(W).
The MDT DALI Control IP 64 Gateway forms the interface between the KNX and the DALI bus. Using the integrated web interface, DALI commissioning and electronic ballast replacement is also possible without using the ETS. For example, the gateway enables the existing DALI lights to be switched and dimmed using the MDT glass or plastic push-buttons. The gateway supports DALI and DALI-2 compliant lights/ballasts, from single colour to Tunable White, to RGB(W).
The MDT DALI Control PRO64 Gateway is a multi-master application controller for controlling electronic ballasts (ECG) with a DALI interface using the KNX bus. Aside from supporting DALI and DALI-2 compliant lights/ballasts, up to 8 DALI-2 motion detectors or light sensors can be connected. Using the integrated web interface, DALI commissioning and electronic ballast replacement is also possible without using the ETS.
The industrial version of the MDT Switch Actuator AZI with active power measurement combines the switching capability of high inrush currents with the accuracy of active power measurement. Current measurement per channel and total current measurements are possible. The energy consumption is recorded by the integrated active power meter. The actuator is equipped with bistable relays for currents up to 16/20 A and a C-load up to 200 µF.
To save energy, it must first be measured. The MDT Energy Meters measure both energy consumption and energy generation, for example by a photovoltaic system. The determined data are the basis for optimising the consumption and increasing the energy efficiency. The energy meters are extensively equipped. In addition to simple current and active power measurement, they count the consumption costs and yields of the generated energy via main and intermediate meters. Numerous application possibilities, such as intermediate measurement and interim billing of rooms and flats, or the efficient use of self-generated energy, are only made possible by this.Measurement by current transformer with practical folding assembly, up to 63 A per channel.
The MDT Heating Actuator AKH has an integrated PI controller for heating and cooling each channel. To control the heating, the actuator receives the room temperature, for example, from an MDT push-button or presence detector with temperature sensor; it’s not necessary to use an external temperature controller. Up to 4 x 230 V AC (3 x 24 V AC) electrothermal actuators can be connected and controlled at each of the non-wearing outputs.
The IP Interface enables the communication between the PC and the KNXÂ /Â EIB system via LAN. The KNX IP Interface allows to programm the KNX bus via TCPÂ /Â IP, 4 simultaneous connections possible.
